  • 1 package Hormel® Always Tender® Boneless Sirloin Chop
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarsely cracked black pepper, divided
  • 1 tablespoon light olive oil
  • 4 slices tomato, slices cut in half
  • 1/3 cup torn fresh basil
  • 4 (1-ounce) slices Provolone or mozzarella cheese, cut in half
  • 1 1/4 cups orzo or small shell pasta
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Buy 1 package Hormel® Always Tender® Boneless Sirloin Chops.

  2. Sprinkle pork chops evenly with salt, Italian seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

  3. In 12-inch skillet, heat light olive oil over medium heat. Add pork chops; cook, turning once, 10 to 12 minutes or until browned and internal temperature reaches 155°F. Top each pork chop with 2 half-slices tomato, 1/4 of basil and 2 half-slices cheese. Cover; reduce heat to low. Cook 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  4. Meanwhile, cook orzo according to package directions; drain. Return to saucepan. Stir in extra-virgin olive oil, onions, cheese and remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

  5. Serve pork chops with orzo.
